Should I add or create a KaiOS account on my phone?

The benefits of adding a KaiOS account to your device include the following:

• Remotely lock your phone if it's lost or stolen
• Remotely wipe the data from your device if it's lost or stolen

To add or create a KaiOS account on your phone, follow these steps:

1. From the main screen, press the OK key.
2. Using the navigation keys, locate the "Settings" icon. Then, press the OK key.
3. Press the RIGHT navigation key until the "Account Manager" tab is highlighted.
4. "KaiOS Account" will be highlighted. Press the OK key.
5. "Create Account" will be highlighted. Press the OK key.

   Note: If you already have a KaiOS account, press the DOWN navigation key to highlight "Sign In." The, press the OK key.

6. A message regarding the terms and privacy policy for KaiOS will display. To accept and continue, press the key below "Accept."
7. The "Account Name" field will be selected. Use the dial pad to enter your email address.
8. Press the DOWN navigation key to highlight "I am over the age of 13." Then, press the OK key to add a check mark.
9. Press the key below "Next" to continue.
10. The "Password" field will be selected. Enter a password for your KaiOS account.
11. Press the DOWN navigation key and enter your password again to confirm.
12. Press the key below "Next" to continue.
13. The "Birthday" field will be selected. Press the OK key.
14. Press the DOWN navigation key until your birth month is highlighted. Then, press the LEFT navigation key.
15. Press the DOWN navigation key until your birth day is highlighted. Then, press the LEFT navigation key.
16. Press the UP or DOWN navigation keys until your birth year is highlighted. Press the OK key.
17. Press the DOWN navigation key until the "Gender" field is highlighted. Press the OK key.
18. Press the UP or DOWN navigation keys until the desired option is highlighted. Then, press the OK key.
19. Press the key below "Next." Your account will be created and a confirmation email will be sent. Press the key below "Next" to return to the setup screen.
20. On your computer or another mobile device, sign in to your email account and open the confirmation email.
21. Click or tap the "Click here to activate" link.
22. Once your account has been activated, press the DOWN navigation key on your phone to highlight "Sign In." Press the OK key and follow the prompts to sign in to your new KaiOS account.
