How do I transfer contacts to or from my SIM Card?

Most smartphones no longer support storing their contacts on a SIM card. You may, however, transfer contacts from an old SIM card to your phone, provided the old SIM card will fit your phone. Insert your previous SIM card into your phone.

The process varies depending on your phone model, but two common solutions are listed below:

1. Go to the "Contacts" app.
2. Tap the "Menu" icon.
3. Tap "Manage SIM"
4. Select the contacts you would like to import
   

Or:

1. Go to the "Settings" app.
2. Tap "Apps."
3. Tap "Contacts."
4. Tap "More settings."
5. Tap "Import/Export contacts."
6. Tap "Import," then tap "SIM card." Select the contacts to import and follow the prompts on your screen.

When finished, be sure to remove your old SIM card and install the new one.
