How do I make a call with real-time text (RTT)?

To place a call using RTT, follow these steps:

1. From the main screen, press the OK key. Use the navigation keys to go to the "Contacts" icon. Then, press the OK key.

   • Note: To make a call from the main screen, use the dial pad to enter the number of the person you would like to call. Then, press the SEND key.

2. Using the navigation keys, go to the contact you would like to call. Press the SEND key.
   • Note: If the screen locks while on a call, simply press the OK key.
3. Once the call connects, press the key below "Options."
4. Go to "Switch to RTT Call." Then, press the OK key.
5. The "Message" field will be selected. Use the dial pad to enter the message you would like to send. The recipient will be able to view your message as you type, and you will be able to view their message as they enter a response.
   • Note: You can also press the key below "Send" to send each message and clear the Message field.
6. To disconnect the call, press the key below "Back." Then, press the PWR/END key.
