If you have difficulty typing on the virtual keyboard, you can use your voice to dictate your texts and emails. To use dictation, begin by opening the desired app and enabling the keyboard. Select the "Microphone" key and begin speaking. When finished, simply stop speaking and select the "Keyboard" key. The text will be displayed on the screen as you speak, and a blue line will appear under any words that dictation is unsure it understood correctly.
To add punctuation to your dictation, simply say the type of punctuation you would like to insert as you speak. For example, when dictating a text message, saying "Hi George exclamation mark" will appear as "Hi George!" in the text message field.
