Once you have launched the Magnifier, you can add color filters to the screen or freeze and capture the magnification screen for easier viewing.
To apply a color filter, follow these steps:
- Select the "Filters" icon. The "NONE" tab will be selected.
- If necessary, slide the color filters at the top of the menu to the left until the desired option is displayed.
- Slide the upper bar to the left to decrease the brightness, or to the right to increase the brightness of your screen.
- Slide the lower bar to the left to decrease the contrast, or to the right to increase the contrast of the image on your screen.
- To invert the selected color filters, press the "Invert" icon at the bottom left corner of your screen.
- Note: To restore the previous color filters, select the icon again.
- To return to the Magnifier screen, select the "Filters" icon again.
To freeze an image of the magnified object on your screen, follow these steps:
- If necessary, tap the screen to focus on the object you would like to capture. The "Lock" icon will be highlighted.
- Note: To unlock the focus, select the "Lock" icon.
- Select the "Capture" icon to freeze the object on your screen.
- To decrease the magnification of the image, slide the bar to the left.
- To increase the magnification, slide the bar to the right.
- Press and hold the image until "Save Image" is displayed. Then, select "Save Image" to save it in your "Photos" app.
- To return to the Magnifier screen, select the "Capture" icon again.
