How do I use my phone as a mobile hotspot?

Please note that turning on Wi-Fi® hotspot will disconnect your current Wi-Fi connection.

To turn your phone into a mobile Wi-Fi® hotspot, follow these steps:

1. From the main screen, slide the screen up to display your apps.
2. Locate and tap the "Settings" icon.
3. Tap "Network & internet."
4. Tap "Hotspot & tethering."
5. If “Wi-Fi hotspot” displays on your device, tap it. Then, continue with step 7. Otherwise, continue with step 6.
6. Tap "Mobile hotspot."
7. If necessary, tap the slider next to "Use mobile hotspot" or “Use Wi-Fi hotspot.”
   • Note: If Wi-Fi is enabled, you may be asked to confirm "Turn off Wi-Fi?" Tap "TURN OFF" to continue.

You will also be able to view and edit other hotspot settings such as your Hotspot's name and password.
