What are the security options on my phone?

Your L125DL offers a wide variety of security options. To set up a screen lock, follow these steps:

1. From the main screen, press the CENTER key.
2. Using the navigation keys, go to the "Settings" icon. Then, press the CENTER key.
3. Go to "Phone settings." Then, press the CENTER key.
4. Go to "Security." Then, press the CENTER key.
5. "Screen lock" will be highlighted. Press the CENTER key.
6. Go to "On." Then, press the CENTER key.
7. Use the dial pad to enter a 4-digit PIN. Then, press the CENTER key.
8. Enter the passcode again to confirm. Then, press the CENTER key.

To lock your SIM card, follow these steps:

1. From the main screen, press the CENTER key.
2. Using the navigation keys, go to the "Settings" icon. Then, press the CENTER key.
3. Go to "Phone settings." Then, press the CENTER key.
4. Go to "Security." Then, press the CENTER key.
5. Go to "SIM card lock." Then, press the CENTER key.
6. Go to "On." Then, press the CENTER key.
7. Use the dial pad to enter the default PIN 1111 or 1234. Then, press the CENTER key.
8. To change your SIM card PIN, press the key below "Change."
9. Enter the current SIM card PIN. Then, press the CENTER key.
10. Enter the new 4-digit PIN. Then, press the CENTER key.
11. Enter the new PIN again to confirm. Then, press the CENTER key.
