What are the security options on my phone?

Your K550 offers several security options. You can choose to set up a fingerprint lock or security lock on your phone screen and a PIN to lock your SIM card.

To set up a fingerprint lock, follow these steps:

1. From the main screen, tap the "Settings" icon.
2. Tap the "General" tab.
3. Locate and tap "Fingerprints & security."
4. Tap "Fingerprints."
5. Tap "NEXT."
6. Tap the desired backup screen lock option and follow the prompts on your screen.
7. Once your fingerprint has been scanned, tap "OK."
8. If necessary, tap the sliders below "OPTIONS" to enable/disable your fingerprint security features.

To set up a security lock, follow these steps:

1. From the main screen, tap the "Settings" icon.
2. Tap the "Display" tab.
3. Tap "Lock screen."
4. Tap "Select screen lock.”
5. Select the desired option and follow the prompts on your screen.

To lock your SIM card, follow these steps:

1. From the main screen, tap the "Settings" icon.
2. Tap the "General" tab.
3. Locate and tap "Fingerprints & security."
4. Locate and tap "Set up SIM card lock."
5. Tap "Lock SIM card."
6. Enter the default PIN 1111 or 1234. Then, tap "OK."
7. Tap "Change SIM PIN."
8. Enter the current PIN. Then, tap "OK."
9. Enter your new PIN. Then, tap "OK."
10. Enter your new PIN again to confirm. Then, tap "OK."
