How do I set up Face Unlock on my phone?
To set up the face unlock security feature, you will first need to set up a screen lock option. From the main screen, follow these steps:
- Slide the screen up to display your apps.
- Locate and tap the "Settings" icon.
- Locate and tap "Security & location."
- Tap "Screen lock."
- Tap the desired option and follow the prompts on your screen.
- Tap "Face unlock."
- Tap "SET UP."
- A message will appear with a disclaimer regarding face unlock security. If you would like to proceed, tap "NEXT."
- Note: If you are prompted to allow the application to access your camera or camcorder, tap "ALLOW."
- Enter your PIN, Password, or Pattern to continue.
- Follow the prompts on your screen to scan your face, then tap "NEXT."
- Tap "GOT IT" to return to the security menu.
