How do I perform a Hard Reset on my device?

If your device becomes unresponsive, you can perform a hard reset. Please note that this will erase all the data stored on your phone.

To perform the hard reset, follow these steps:

  1. Turn your device off.
  2. Press and hold both the Volume DOWN key and the PWR/LOCK key at the same time.
  3. Release both keys when the Android screen is displayed.
  4. Press the Volume DOWN key repeatedly until "RECOVERY MODE" is displayed on the screen near the PWR/LOCK key. Then, press the PWR/LOCK key to select it.
  5. When the "No command" message appears on the screen, press and hold the PWR/LOCK key. Then, press and release the Volume UP key while continuing to hold the PWR/LOCK key.
  6. Release the PWR/LOCK key when the Android Recovery screen is displayed.
  7. Press the Volume DOWN key repeatedly until "Wipe data/factory reset" is highlighted. Then, press the PWR/LOCK key to select it.
  8. Press the Volume DOWN key repeatedly until "Factory data reset" is highlighted. Then, press the PWR/LOCK key to select it.
  9. Once the contents are deleted, "Reboot system now" will be highlighted. Press the PWR/LOCK key to reboot your device to the setup screen.
