What are the security options on my phone?

Your XT1925DL offers several security options. You can choose to set up a screen lock, a fingerprint, Face Unlock, Smart Lock, or a SIM card lock.

To set up a screen lock, follow these steps:

1. From the main screen, slide the screen to the left to view more options.
2. Tap the "Tools Folder" icon.
3. Tap the "Settings" icon.
4. Locate and tap "Security & Location."
5. Tap "Screen lock."
6. Tap the desired option and follow the prompts on your screen.

To set up a fingerprint, follow these steps:

1. From the main screen, slide the screen to the left to view more options.
2. Tap the "Tools Folder" icon.
3. Tap the "Settings" icon.
4. Locate and tap "Security & Location."
5. Tap "Fingerprint."
6. Tap "NEXT" to continue.
7. Tap the desired backup screen lock method. You will be prompted to require your backup screen lock method when you phone starts up.
8. Tap "YES" or "NO" to continue. Follow the the prompts on your screen to set up your backup screen lock method and fingerprint.

To set up Face Unlock, you will first need to set up a screen lock. Once you have set up your screen lock, follow these steps:

1. From the main screen, slide the screen to the left to view more options.
2. Tap the "Tools Folder" icon.
3. Tap the "Settings" icon.
4. Locate and tap "Security & Location."
5. Tap "Face Unlock."
6. Enter the screen lock option you selected. Then, tap "NEXT" to continue.
7. Enter your Pattern, PIN, or Password to continue.
8. Follow the prompts on your screen to complete your face scan. Then, tap "DONE."

To set up Smart Lock, you will first need to set up a screen lock. Once you have set up your screen lock, follow these steps:

1. From the main screen, slide the screen to the left to view more options.
2. Tap the "Tools Folder" icon.
3. Tap the "Settings" icon.
4. Locate and tap "Security & Location."
5. Locate and tap "Smart Lock."
6. Enter your Pattern, PIN, or Password to continue.
7. Tap "GOT IT" to continue.
8. Tap the desired Smart Lock option. Then, follow the prompts on your screen to complete your Smart Lock setup.

To set up a SIM card lock, follow these steps:

1. From the main screen, slide the screen to the left to view more options.
2. Tap the "Tools Folder" icon.
3. Tap the "Settings" icon.
4. Locate and tap "Security & Location."
5. Locate and tap "SIM card lock."
6. Tap "Lock SIM card."
7. Read the SIM Lock warning, then tap "OK" to continue.
8. Enter the default PIN 1234. Then, tap "OK."
9. Tap "Change SIM PIN."
10. Enter the current PIN, then tap "OK."
11. Enter your new PIN, then tap "OK."
12. Enter your new PIN again to confirm, then tap "OK."
