How do I turn Emergency Alerts On/Off?
In most cases, "Emergency Alerts" are enabled on new devices. To verify or change this setting from the main screen, follow these steps:
- From the main screen, slide the screen up.
- Locate and tap the "Settings" icon.
- Locate and tap "Safety & emergency."
- Locate and tap "Wireless emergency alerts."
- If necessary, tap the slider to turn "Allow alerts" on or off. Once the feature is enabled, tap the slider(s) to select the desired option(s).
