To set up a screen lock, follow these steps:

From the main screen, press the CENTER key.
Using the navigation keys, go to the "Settings" icon. Then, press the CENTER key.
Go to "Privacy & Security."
"Screen lock" will be selected. Press the CENTER key.
Go to "On." Then, press the CENTER key.
Use the dial pad to enter a 4-digit code. Then, press the CENTER key.
Enter the passcode again to confirm. Then, press the key below "Create."
