What is real-time text (RTT) with calls? How do I enable it?

Real-time text (RTT) lets you use text to communicate during a phone call. RTT works with TTY and does not require any additional accessories. You can place a call with RTT, or you can switch from voice to RTT during a call.

• Note: RTT uses call minutes, just like a voice call.

To turn on RTT, follow these steps:

1. From the main screen, press the CENTER key.
2. Using the navigation keys, go to the "Settings" icon. Then, press the CENTER key.
3. Go to "Device."
4. Go to "Accessibility." Then, press the CENTER key.
5. Go to "RTT." Then, press the CENTER key.
6. "RTT" will be highlighted. Press the CENTER key.
7. Go to "On." Then, press the CENTER key.
