How do I set up and enable Smart Lock on my phone?

Before you set up and enable "Smart Lock," you must first configure a screen lock option.

To set up "Smart Lock,"  after you have selected a screen lock option follow these steps:

1. From the main screen, slide the screen up to display your apps.
2. Locate and tap the "Settings" icon.
3. Locate and tap "Security & privacy" or "Security." If necessary, tap "More security settings."
4. Locate and tap "Smart Lock." Then, enter your screen lock option and follow the prompts on the screen to continue.
   • Note: If you have not configured a screen lock, you will be prompted to do so.
5. Tap the desired "Smart Lock" option. Then, follow the prompts on your screen to complete your "Smart Lock" setup.
