How do I update the operating system (OS) on my phone?

To check for OS updates, follow these steps:
  1. From the main screen, press the CENTER key.
  2. Using the navigation keys, go to the "Tools & Settings" or "Settings" icon. Then, press the CENTER key.
    • Note: If you select the "Tools & Settings" icon, continue with Step 3. If you select the "Settings" icon, continue with step 4.
  3. Go to "Settings". Then, press the CENTER key.
  4. Go to "Software update." Then, press the CENTER key.
  5. "Check for Updates" will be highlighted. Press the CENTER key.
  6. If an update is available, press the CENTER key and follow the prompts on your screen. Otherwise, the message "Your Reliance Communications RC2200L is up to date. No update is necessary at this time" will be displayed.
