How do I transfer data from my old phone?
You can transfer content from your old device, such as your photos, contacts, music, and calendar events to your new Galaxy device by using the built-in "Smart Switch" app. To transfer your data, follow these steps:
- From the main screen of each device, slide the screen up.
- Locate and tap the "Smart Switch" icon.
- If necessary, tap "Allow" o "Agree."
- Tap "Start."
- On your previous Samsung phone, tap "Send data."
- On your new Galaxy phone, tap "Receive data."
- Tap "Cable" or "Wireless" as your connection method on both devices.
- On your old Samsung phone, tap the content you would like to transfer. Then, tap the "Send" icon.
- On your new Galaxy, tap "Receive" to accept the transfer.
- Once the transfer is complete, tap "DONE" on each device.
