Can I add and listen to music files on my phone without a Google (Gmail) account?
Yes. To play a song or create a playlist, follow these steps:
- From the main screen, tap the "Google" folder.
- Tap the "YT Music" icon. Then, tap "DEVICE FILES" on the sign in screen.
- Tap the "Library" tab. Then, tap "Songs."
- If necessary, tap the "DEVICE FILES" tab. Locate the desired song.
- To create a playlist, tap the "Menu" icon to the right of the song title. Then, tap "Add to playlist."
- To listen to the song, simply tap the title.
- Tap "New playlist." The "Title" field will be taped.
- Enter a title for your playlist and tap "CREATE." The song will be added to your new playlist.
- To add more songs, repeat step 5. Then, tap the name of the playlist.
