Google Play Store is not working.

Google Play Store errors are often caused by corrupted cache files for the Google Account on the device. These corrupted cache files may even be reloaded to the device by Google after a Factory Reset. If you have reset your device to resolve a Google Play Store error, please do not restore from backup. Restoring from backup will reload the corrupted cache files and the error will persist.

The following troubleshooting steps should resolve any Google Play Store issues.

  1. From the main screen, slide the screen up to display your apps.
  2. Select the "Settings" icon.
  3. Select "Apps."
  4. Select the "Menu" icon.
  5. Select "Show system."
  6. Locate and select "Google Play Store."
  7. Select "Storage."
  8. Select "Clear Data."
  9. Select "OK."
  10. Select the back arrow to return to the previous page.
  11. Select "STOP" or "FORCE STOP," then select "OK" to confirm.
  12. Repeat steps 1–10 for Google Play Services, Google Services Framework, and Google Account Manager.
  13. Once you have cleared the app data for the Google Services apps, locate and select "Accounts" from the main Settings menu.
  14. Select your Google account.
  15. Select the "Menu" icon.
  16. Select "Remove account," then select "Remove account" again to confirm.

If you are still experiencing issues check to see if there is a Google Play Store update available. If so, download and install the update.

If the previous steps do not resolve your issues, try wiping the cache partition, or a Factory Data Reset.
