How do I set up Face Recognition?

Once you have set up a secure screen lock such as a pattern, PIN, or password, you can set up Face Recognition.

To set up this feature, follow these steps:

1. From the main screen, slide the screen up.
2. Tap the "Settings" icon.
3. Locate and tap "Biometrics and security."
4. Tap "Face Recognition."
5. Enter your current pattern, PIN, or password. Then, tap "Next" or "Continue."
6. Tap "Continue."
7. You will be asked if you are wearing glasses. If necessary, tap the desired answer. Tap "Continue."
8. If prompted to remove your glasses during the scan, follow the instruction and tap "Continue."
9. When finished, the "Stay on Lock screen" option will be enabled. If necessary, tap the slider to disable this feature. Tap "Done."
   • Note: When finished, you will be prompted to back up your PIN, Pattern, or Password. Tap "Agree" to back up your secure screen lock, or tap the screen to skip this step.
10. Options for face recognition will automatically be selected. To disable these options, tap the sliders as needed to the "Off" position.
