What should I do if my device can't find a signal or can't register on the network?

There are a few reasons why your device might not be able to find a signal or register on the network. Let's take a look at some of the most common and try to help resolve the issue.


Do you have Airplane Mode enabled?

This might have happened by accident. Take a look at the top of your screen near your signal indicator, if ou see an airplane icon, then Airplane Mode is on.


Now, if Airplane Mode was off, try turning it on for 30 seconds and then turning it back off. This can help to re-register the phone and SIM to our network.



Have you tried rebooting your device?

This is simply powering down the device fully and powering it back on. This "Soft Reset" helps similarly to Airplane Mode but with additional aspects of the device and network.
