Can I add and listen to music files on my phone without a Google (Gmail) account?

Yes. To transfer music files from your PC, follow these steps:

  1. Attach the USB end of a charging cable to the USB port on your computer.
  2. Attach the USB Type-C end of the cable to the USB Type-C charging port on your device.
  3. Slide down from the top of your screen to access the Notification Bar and verify that your phone is connected via "USB for file transfer."
    • Note: If another message is displayed, select the notification and choose "Transferring files."
  4. Click on the "Start" icon for your computer and select "File Explorer."
  5. Access your computer’s hard drive and navigate to the multimedia files you would like to copy or transfer to your device.
  6. Select the desired files and drag them to the "Galaxy S20+" device listed below "Computer" or "This PC."

To play a song or create a playlist, follow these steps:

  1. From the main screen, slide the screen up.
  2. Locate and tap the "YT Music" icon. Then, tap "DEVICE FILES" on the sign in screen.
  3. Tap the "Library" tab. Then, tap "Songs."
  4. If necessary, tap the "DEVICE FILES" tab. Locate the desired song.
  5. To create a playlist, tap the "Menu" icon to the right of the song title. Then, tap "Add to playlist."
    • Note: To listen to the song, simply tap the title.
  6. Tap "New playlist." The "Title" field will be selected.
  7. Enter a title for your playlist and tap "CREATE." The song will be added to your new playlist.
  8. To add more songs, repeat steps 5–6. Then, tap the name of the playlist.
