What new features does the Samsung N970U1 bring to the Camera app?
The N970U1 camera app offers several improvements over previous cameras in this line of products, including 3 rear-facing cameras. The specs for all the Note10's cameras are as follows:
- Ultra-wide-angle rear-facing camera: 16MP with a 123-degree field of view (FOV) and an F2.2 aperture
- Wide-angle rear-facing camera: 12MP with Super Speed Dual Pixel autofocus (AF), Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), a 77-degree FOV, and dual aperture F1.5 and F2.4 modes
- Telephoto rear-facing camera: 12MP with phase-detect auto focus (PDAF), OIS, a 45-degree FOV, and an F2.1 aperture
- Front-facing (selfie) camera: 10MP with Dual Pixel autofocus (AF), an 80-degree FOV, and an F2.2 aperture
The Camera app for the Note10 includes the following enhancements:
- Live Video now works when capturing video, not just still images
- Videos can utilize 4 new bokeh effects in real time
- Super Steady video stabilization predicts movement for smoother playback
- Video editing on the go, including the addition of S Pen illustrations
- AR Doodle and S Pen come together for 3D drawings in your videos
- Zoom-In Mic for more delicate audio recording in Video modes
