How do I use the Samsung DeX desktop environment?
The Samsung DeX software comes pre-installed on the Samsung N970U1 and, when you plug your phone into an external display via an HDMI adapter, transforms your phone into a full desktop environment. You can choose to use a Bluetooth-enabled keyboard and mouse, turn your phone into a trackpad or virtual keyboard, or connect your phone directly to a Windows-based or Mac computer. Once your phone is connected, a popup menu will appear on your phone screen. Click on the desired option to get started.
Please note that the Samsung N970U1 does not come with the HDMI-to-USB Type-C cable necessary for connecting your phone to an external display or monitor.
