How do I enable Bixby?
To enable Bixby for the first time, follow these steps:
- Press and hold the PWR/LOCK key on the left side of your phone.
- Note: If prompted to update Bixby to continue, tap "Update." Tap "I have read and agree to all of the above," then tap "Start." You will be directed to the Galaxy Store. Tap "Update."
- Tap the "Next" icon to display the Welcomne screen.
- Tap "Sign in to Samsung account."
- If you already have a Samsung account, enter your email address and password. Then, tap "Sign in." Otherwise, tap "Create account" and follow the onscreen prompts.
- Note: If prompted to set up Samsung Pass, tap "Cancel" or "Get started."
- Tap the "Next" icon at the bottom of the screen.
- Agree to the Terms and Conditions, then tap the "Next" icon at the bottom of the screen.
- To set up Bixby Voice now, tap the "Next" icon and follow the onscreen prompts. Otherwise, tap "Skip" to continue.
- Tap the "checkmark" icon at the bottom of your screen. Bixby is now ready to respond to your questions and commands.
- Note: The option to "Double press the Side key to open Bixby" will be selected. If you would like to continue accessing Bixby by pressing and holding the PWR/LOCK key, tap to disable this option before you tap the checkmark at the bottom of the screen.
