What are the security options on my phone?

To secure your device, you can choose to set up a screen lock and/or set up a SIM card lock. From the main screen, tap the "Apps" icon. Tap the "Settings" icon. Slide the screen up to see more options. Tap "Lock screen and security."

To set up a screen lock, tap "Screen lock type." Tap the desired option and follow the on-screen prompts.

To set up a SIM card lock, slide the screen up to see more options. Tap "Other security settings." Then, tap "Set up SIM card lock." Tap "Lock SIM card" to move the slider to the "ON" position. You will be prompted to enter the current SIM card PIN. Enter the default PIN 1111 or 1234, then tap "OK." Follow the on-screen prompts to set a SIM card PIN that is easy to remember, as it cannot be reset by your service provider.
