How do I set up Face Recognition?
To set up Face Recognition security, follow these steps:
- From the main screen, slide the screen up.
- Locate and tap the "Settings" icon.
- Locate and tap "Biometrics and security."
- Tap "Face recognition."
- Enter your current pattern, PIN, or password. Then, tap "Next" or "Continue. If you have not created a secure screen lock, you will be prompted to do so. Tap "Continue" and follow the instructions.
- Note: For more information about this security feature, tap "More about face recognition."
- You will be asked if you are wearing glasses. Tap the desired answer, then tap "Continue" to begin the scan.
- Note: If you are wearing glasses, you may be asked to remove them to complete the scan. If necessary, tap "Done" to confirm that you are not wearing glasses.
- When the scan is complete, the option to "Stay on Lock screen until swipe" will be enabled. Tap the slider to turn this feature on/off.
- Tap "Done" to complete the process.
