What are the security options on my phone?

Your S767VL offers several security options. You can choose to set up Face Recognition or a security lock on your phone screen, as well as a PIN to lock your SIM card.

To set up Face Recognition, follow these steps:

1. From the main screen, slide the screen up to see more options.
2. Tap the "Settings" icon.
3. Locate and tap "Biometrics and security."
4. Tap "Face Recognition.”
5. Tap "Continue."
6. You will be prompted to set up a secure screen lock. Select the desired option and follow the prompts on your screen.
7. A warning message will display. Read the information. Then, tap "OK."
8. Tap "CONTINUE."
9. Follow the prompts on your screen to complete your facial recognition scan.
10. You will be prompted to agree to faster recognition. To accept, tap "OK." Otherwise, tap the slider to turn this feature off. Then, tap "OK."
11. If prompted to turn on "Face unlock," tap "NOT NOW" or "TURN ON."
12. If necessary, adjust your notification options. Tap "DONE."

To set up a security lock, follow these steps:

1. From the main screen, slide the screen up to see more options.
2. Tap the "Settings" icon.
3. Tap "Lock screen."
4. Tap "Screen lock type.”
5. Select the desired option and follow the prompts on your screen.

To lock your SIM card, follow these steps:

1. From the main screen, slide the screen up to see more options.
2. Tap the "Settings" icon.
3. Locate and tap "Biometrics and security."
4. Locate and tap "Other security settings."
5. Tap "Set up SIM card lock."
6. Tap "Lock SIM card."
7. Enter the default PIN 1111 or 1234. Then, tap "OK."
8. Tap "Change SIM card PIN."
9. Enter the current PIN. Then, tap "OK."
10. Enter your new PIN. Then, tap "OK."
11. Enter your new PIN again to confirm. Then, tap "OK."
