How do I set up Face Recognition?

Once you've set up a secure screen lock, such as a pattern, PIN, or password, you can set up Face Recognition.

To set up Face Recognition security, follow these steps:

1. From the main screen, slide the screen up.
2. Locate and tap the "Settings" icon.
3. Locate and tap "Biometrics and security."
4. Tap "Face recognition."
5. Enter your current pattern, PIN, or password and tap "Next."
   • If you have not created a secure screen lock, press "Continue." Then, follow the prompts on your screen to select a secure screen lock.
6. If prompted to remove your glasses during the scan, follow the instruction and tap "Continue."
7. Tap "Done."
8. When finished, you will be prompted to back up your PIN, Pattern, or Password. Tap "Agree" to back up your secure screen lock, or tap the screen to skip this step.
9. The options for face recognition will automatically be selected. To disable these options, tap the sliders to the "Off" position as needed.
