How do I use Samsung Pay?

Once you have set up Samsung Pay on your Galaxy phone, you can use it as payment at many of your favorite local businesses. For step-by-step instructions on setting up Samsung Pay, click here.

To use Samsung Pay, follow these steps:

1. From the main screen, slide the screen up.
2. Locate and tap the "Samsung Pay" icon.
3. Tap the card you would like to use.
4. Authorize the payment using your fingerprint or entering your "Samsung Pay" PIN. Then, hold your phone over the card reader until the transaction is complete. An electronic receipt will be sent to the email address you provided when setting up your account.

To access Samsung Pay when your screen is locked, you can use "Simple Pay." To enable this feature, follow these steps:

1. From the main screen, slide the screen up.
2. Locate and tap the "Samsung Pay" icon.
3. Tap the "Menu" icon, indicated by 3 horizontal lines. Then, tap "Settings."
4. Tap "Quick access." Then, tap the slider(s) to the "On" position to enable or disable for each screen view option. You can now use Samsung Pay from the "Lock screen", "Home screen", and/or "Screen off."
