How can I delete the cache or data from my apps?

The app's cache is data that the app stores locally to improve the user experience. If you find that an application has started running very slowly or frequently crashes, this may be corrected by deleting its cache. To do so follow the steps below:

  1. From the main screen, slide the screen up to display your apps.
  2. Tap the "Settings" icon.
  3. Tap the "Apps" icon.
  4. Tap "See all apps"
  5. Select the desired application.
  6. If necessary, tap "Storage" or "Storage & cache"
  7. Tap "Clear Cache" and if necessary tap "OK."

If clearing the app's cache did not fix the issue, you can try clearing the app's data, which will reset it completely:

  1. Tap "Clear Data" or "Clear Storage."
    • Note: Deleting app data will erase all files, settings, accounts, databases, etc. permanently for that specific app.
  2. If necessary, tap "OK." Clearing the data will also clear the cache.
